Muffler Size

Merlin Muffler. An additional silencer fitted to the end of an exhaust tail pipe. Used on track days where the existing system fails the noise test. The Merlin Muffler can take from 0 to 9 Dba off the noise reading. The only way to find the reduction is to test one. Each car/engine combination varies. At Castle Combe Circuit you can try one and have the resident Scrutineer test your system (ring the circuit first to make sure that there will be a Scrutineer present on the day you choose.)

The main body of the Muffler measures 8 inches long (203mm) by 4 inches in diameter (102mm).
