This B-G Quick Release Steering Wheel System is designed for fitment to most aftermarket steering wheels, including all of the Momo range to a Mountney or Mota-Lita type classic boss.
The B-G Racing Quick Release Steering Boss (BG4924) fits Mountney bosses which have 6 holes with 101mm PCD, or Mota-Lita bosses which have 9 holes with 101.6mm PCD. The boss then has 6 holes with 70mm PCD for fitting Momo steering wheels (and some Sparco, Nardi, OMP and Personal wheels with 6 hole 70mm PCD or 6 hole 74mm PCD).
The boss measures 123mm wide and 72mm deep. When fitted, the BG Quick release boss will bring the steering wheel approximately 60mm closer to the driver.
Machined from high-quality aluminium and finished in satin black / polished aluminium, the system features a fail-safe push pin system to prevent premature unlocking, but allows rapid removal of the steering wheel when required.
This Quick Release Boss is particularly suited to cars where optimum steering wheel height leaves little clearance when driving, but also enables greater flexibility when prepping an alternative driving seat/steering wheel combination.
