Bell Helmets has a long tradition of making open face helmets, but, for the last few years, Bell was more focused on helmets for circuit racing and karting. Indeed, Richard Burns was the last Bell driver who won the World Rally Championship in 2001. Now that the FIA has announced more severe safety standards in rally, Bell is back on the rally scene with helmets meeting or exceeding the Snell standard. The new Rally Series benefits from the high technology used in the other Bell racing helmets, but do not expect anything too fancy?... optimal head protection, optimal ear protection, good audio qualities and reduced weight were the perequisite behind the development of this new line of products.
